Our 99 Trans-Am Project Car
Rapid Motorsports Trans-Am was the First Ever LS based engine to reach a 9 second 1/4 mile ET. We did this in April of 2000. Here is a video of that historical occasion:

Rapid Dominator 347CI does 667 rear wheel horsepower and 541 lbs/ft of rear wheel torque. Rob Mauri's 2004 GTO is fitted with a D1 Procharger, a small cam, stock cylinder heads, stock intake and SLP headers with cats. Rapid Motorsports Custom Built Road Racing Engine Package Does 573 Rear Wheel Horsepower and 529 Rear Wheel Torque on 93 Octane. Brian Gallaghers 2001 Corvette surprised many Vipers this year as he humiliated them at Pocono Raceway where Brian is a racing instructer. This engine was abused on a regular basis and never skipped a beat. Rapid Motorsports 427 CI LS2 Dominator Racing Engine Produces 675 Rear Wheel Horsepower and 541 lbs/ft of Rear Wheel Torque!
